President

Stephen Attfield co-founded Ontario Screen Systems Inc. with Danny Motkaluk in February 1994, driven by a vision to bring Phantom Screens to Ontario and change the way homeowners connect with the outdoors. Over the past 31 years, Stephen has built a strong, dedicated team that now consults with and installs screens for thousands of satisfied customers each year. Under his leadership, OSSI has grown to become the top seller of door screens in the Phantom Screens distributor network—surpassing business goals and continuing to raise the bar.

Stephen is passionate about innovation and sustainability, and he actively researches and applies energy-saving practices at home and in the workplace. For him, Phantom Screens has always been about more than just products—it’s about offering practical, beautiful solutions that support both comfort and conservation.

Outside of work, Stephen enjoys spends as much time as he can outdoors—skiing, cycling, camping, and enjoying music. A true host at heart, he loves to barbecue and serve up great meals for family and friends.

Holly Attfield

Vice President

Holly recently celebrated 20 years with Ontario Screen Systems, where she leads marketing efforts across print, radio, and digital platforms to showcase the lifestyle benefits of Phantom Screens. With a background in Architectural Technology, Telecommunication Management, and leadership in both hospitality and project management, she brings a unique blend of technical knowledge and people-focused strategy to the role.

Passionate about great products and even greater teams, Holly is also committed to building a positive, engaged workplace culture. Her favourite product? Phantom’s motorized screens—she loves the instant “wow factor” and the comfort they bring to outdoor spaces.

Outside the office, Holly is a fitness enthusiast who enjoys skiing, yoga, paddleboarding, and travel. She loves spending time with family and capturing memories through scrapbooking.

Gilson Campodonico

General Manager

With over 12 years at Ontario Screen Systems Inc., Gilson Campodonico leads the company’s operations across field, office, and warehouse teams. As General Manager and Controller, he also oversees all financial responsibilities, bringing strategic insight from his background in Accounting, Finance, and Credit Management.

Prior to OSSI, Gilson served as a Controller in the hospitality and pharmaceutical sectors. He values the opportunity to connect with both employees and customers, and takes pride in the company’s family-run roots and reputation for top-tier products.

Outside of work, Gilson enjoys time with his wife and two granddaughters, stays active, and is a passionate soccer fan. His favourite product? The oversized door screen—perfect for large folding or sliding door systems.

Candice Froese

Inside Sales Manager

Candice Froese has been a dedicated part of Ontario Screen Systems since March 2004, bringing over 13 years of experience to her role as Inside Sales Manager. She leads a team focused on ensuring smooth, successful motorized screen installations and manages the growth of OSSI’s dealer network across Ontario.

With a background in manufacturing, Candice brings a strong focus on quality, consistency, and efficiency to every project. She enjoys helping clients find the right screening solutions and values OSSI’s commitment to long-term partnerships with both industry professionals and homeowners.

Candice’s favorite product is the Manual Wall Screen for its ability to bring airflow and a sense of the outdoors into enclosed spaces. Outside of work, she enjoys home improvement projects, spending time with loved ones, and getting out in the fresh air on weekends.

Japneet Gondara

Customer Service Manager

Japneet Gondara joined Ontario Screen Systems in February 2024 and quickly became a key part of the team as Customer Service Manager. With a strong focus on communication and collaboration, she ensures that every customer interaction is handled with care, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence.

What Japneet enjoys most about her role is the teamwork—working together to deliver the best experience possible. She believes OSSI stands out for its exceptional product quality, something she’s proud to represent every day.

Her favourite Phantom product is the Motorized Screen, which she loves for the calm, relaxing atmosphere it creates in any space.

Outside the office, Japneet enjoys hiking and spending time in nature, always finding ways to recharge and bring that positive energy back to her work.

Mark Yaroff

Technical Services Manager

With over 25 years of experience at Ontario Screen Systems, Mark Yaroff plays a key role as Technical Support Manager, providing expert guidance to staff, dealers, and customers on installation and product solutions. His strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach help ensure every project meets the highest standards. Before joining OSSI, Mark owned and operated his own landscaping business, bringing valuable entrepreneurial experience and a customer-first mindset to his work.

Mark takes pride in being part of a company where all installers are highly trained, full-time employees—a standard that sets OSSI apart in the industry. One of his favourite products is the Motorized Screen, which challenges him to find the perfect solution for every unique space. For Mark, there’s nothing more satisfying than seeing the beauty and functionality of a completed installation.

Outside of work, Mark’s creative side shines through his love of music. A classically trained pianist through the Royal Conservatory of Music, he’s played in numerous bands and even recorded a solo CD in 2002.

Dave Hodder

Field Operations Manager

Dave Hodder joined Ontario Screen Systems Inc. in August 2023, bringing over 35 years of experience in the window and door industry, with a strong background in both sales and installation. As Field Operations Manager, he leads day-to-day field operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and teamwork.

Dave values OSSI’s collaborative environment and is proud to be part of a company that prioritizes professional installation and outstanding customer service. He’s especially impressed by the durability and quality of Phantom Screens products.

A passionate sports fan, Dave enjoys hockey, football, golf, and fishing in his spare time. His favourite product is the motorized retractable screen—a sleek, button-activated solution that turns outdoor spaces into comfortable, protected extensions of the home.

Rob Muir

Warehouse Supervisor

With over 21 years at Ontario Screen Systems, Rob Muir plays a key role as Warehouse & Assembly Supervisor. He oversees everything from warehousing and inventory to shipping, receiving, and preparing each screen installation—ensuring every project is executed with care and precision. His attention to detail and steady coordination behind the scenes are essential to the company’s continued success.

Rob enjoys the daily challenges that come with his role and takes great pride in working with top-quality Phantom products, especially the Executive motorized screens, known for their innovation and versatility.

Outside of work, Rob enjoys the simple pleasures of life—sharing a great glass of red wine with family and friends, tending to his garden, firing up the barbecue, and diving into home improvement projects. He’s also a creative at heart, spending time designing custom artwork.

Danny Motkaluk

Legacy Founding Partner

Danny Motkaluk has been part of the home improvement world since his early days, learning the ropes in sales at his family’s aluminium door and window company. In 1994, he took that passion a step further by co-founding Ontario Screen Systems Inc. with Stephen Attfield. For Danny, the business is more than a career—it’s a connection to community, history, and innovation. He especially enjoys meeting others in the industry whose parents worked with his own, calling it a rewarding mix of nostalgia and progress.

One of Danny’s proudest moments was reconnecting with the very first couple he sold a screen to back in 1994. They still love their Phantom Screen as much as they did then—proof, he says, that working with top-quality products truly makes a lasting difference.

Outside of the office, Danny loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys relaxing by the lake in Bobcaygeon, watching hockey and football, and giving back by rescuing dogs and cats so they can enjoy happy, loving homes.

At heart, Danny believes in the power of hard work, kindness, and consistency: “Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.”
