Stephen Attfield

President

Stephen is one of the founders of Ontario Screen Systems Inc. (OSSI), along with Danny Motkaluk, since Feb 1994. When he started OSSI, he wanted to bring Phantom Screens to Ontario. Now, Stephen has built an amazing team that provides consultation and installation to thousands of customers every year. Fully 25 years later, OSSI is the number one seller of door screens in the Phantom Screens distributor network and has achieved the business goals many times over. Today, Phantom has offered even greater retractable products to homeowners. “It’s a great company, a revolutionary product, and we wanted to make it known throughout the province” (Attfield, 2019).

Regarding his personal life, Stephen is married and has three kids. He grew up with cats, but now he has two cats and two dogs. He enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends skiing, cycling, camping, and listening to music. Also, he enjoys to barbeque and serving a great meal to friends and family.

Stephen believes that energy conservation is critical for our planet’s future, and he researches and implements new ways to conserve energy, both at home and at the office.

Holly Attfield

Vice President

Holly is the head of Strategy and Execution and has been managing teams for over 20 years. She is an Architectural Technologist (NAIT, Edmonton), and she would love more homeowners to be aware of Phantom Screens products, and the greater enjoyment it brings to their home.

Holly brings Phantom Screens closer to customers through marketing efforts in print, radio and on industry blogs and websites, and she works hard to create a fantastic workplace culture for Phantom team members. She believes that “a great work environment, great people and great products are the best possible ingredients to a successful experience for Phantom Screens customers” (Attfield, 2019).

Regarding her personal life, Holly lives with her husband and 3 kids in the countryside an hour north of Toronto. She loves animals, and has two big dogs – one chocolate labradoodle and one white lab mix, two crazy cats and a tank full of fish! Also, Holly loves health and fitness related activities, and spending time with family and friends outdoors, traveling to new places, and documenting her family memories through photography and scrapbooking. What does she love? Coffee! And, a sentence she strongly believes is “Just do it”.

Danny Motkaluk

Sales Manager

Danny has grown up in the home improvement industry since his youth. His father used to have an aluminium door and window manufacturing company, and Danny worked in sales for the family business. Then, in 1994, Danny founded OSSI along with Stephen Attfield. “I enjoy running into other second-generation door and window people, whose parents did business with mine. It’s like sharing a common history; it’s a peek at nostalgia and progress at the same time” (Motkaluk, 2019).

Now, at Phantom Screens Ontario, Danny remains proud of what his company has offered for each customer. He remembers selling a very first screen in 1994 to a couple in Mississauga who were invited to celebrate the 25th OSSI anniversary on Valentine’s Day, 2019. The couple still loves the product as much as they did back. So, from a standpoint of his goal to deal with the very best products, he has definitely achieved that.

In addition to work, Danny joys spending time with his family. He has three sons, and two grandsons with whom he delights to be together. He also enjoys spending time by the lake in Bobcaygeon, and watching sports, particularly hockey and football. Also, Danny deeply cares about pets. He rescued both dogs and cats so that they can have a second chance at a loving home.

All in all, Danny strongly believes the success is a result of hard work. “Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later” (Motkaluk, 2019).

Mark Yaroff

Field Operation Manager

Mark has a Bachelor of Arts with specialization in Urban Planning. He has been working in the construction and service industry since 1983 and has been working at Phantom Screens Ontario for 21 years. Mark is the Field Operation Manager and is proud to provide a service with customer satisfaction through the expertise and knowledge he has gained over time.

Regarding his personal life, Mark is married to his high school sweetheart Diana. They have five wonderful children and six grandchildren, latest added in Feb 2019. He loves cats and has Snowball, a Baby Doll Persian, and Latte, a Ragdoll. Also, Mark is a sports fanatic, especially football, hockey, baseball, and golf.

Mark`s main goal is to provide a memorable service with total customer satisfaction. Mark wants the pride of being retired with relief for having offered the best alternatives to every project and customer need.

Candice Froese

Inside Sales Manager

Candice is the Inside Sales Manager and has been working with customer service for over 20 years. She prides herself in working hard, being thorough and maintaining client relationships with exemplary service. She takes her job very seriously and is full of ideas regarding her professional goals that are focused on the success of her clients. Also, Candice strongly believes that good work has life balance that personal and professional tasks do not interfere with the other.

Candice is married and mom of two kids who have been growing up with their cousins and relatives. She enjoys walking around her neighborhood, playing with her young son out in the yard, watching her husband garden, and having a glass of Sangria. She is fulfilled when she is in touch with different cultures and would love to travel across Europe to look at the amazing architecture, tasting the abundance of food and meeting new people.

Rob Muir

Warehouse Supervisor

Rob is the Warehouse & Assembly Supervisor. He has been working at Phantom Screens Ontario for over 15 years and has been coordinating the warehousing, shipping, receiving and preparation of every screen installation. His talent has been essential to execute each project with excellence.

Regarding his personal life, Rob loves a great glass of red wine with the company of family and friends. He loves barbecue, gardening, and of course, home improvement. He is married, has two beautiful girls and three cute cats.
